Webelos

We will have our final Webelos meeting on Monday, April 2 at the Village House - 6-7:15pm. In the spirit of spring break, there will be no reading assignment.

The Cross-Over Ceremony, which is the graduation to Boy Scouts, will be held in the Sears Gym on April 9 beginning at 7:30pm. Parents are encouraged to attend. Scouts should be dressed in full uniform.

If your scout is planning to attend Camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan this summer, please return your forms to Stephanie Guyett as soon as possible so we can determine capacity.

A couple of Boy Scout dates to put on your forward calendar:
4/21-22 Boy Scout campout at Chain o Lakes - details will be forthcoming
5/5-6 Boy Scout float trip/campout - White Pines
7/8-7/21 Camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan - information was handed out at pack night and at Monday's Webelos meeting. We are being encouraged to register as soon as possible. You can choose either one or two week sessions. This is a terrific experience which allows the new scouts to accelerate their advancement. If anyone is interested and did not get the information please let me know.

 

Webelos meetings are held at The Village House from 6:00pm – 7:15 pm on Mondays (if Monday is a school holiday, the meeting will be on Tuesday as noted above).
• Pack Nights are held at the Kenilworth Club from 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
•The first campout is with the Cub Scouts and the remainder are with the Boy Scouts.
• Blue and Gold Dinner is the Annual Award Ceremony for all scouts and their parents, and is held at The Kenilworth Club.
• The Cross Over Ceremony is the advancement ceremony into Boy Scouts for all scouts and their parents, and is held at the Sears Gym
• All meetings after April 9th will be Boy Scout meetings which are held in the Sears Gym
